Digital skills for people impacted by the justice system.
Our mission
1M & Co is proud to partner with Grow with Google to equip people who have been impacted by the justice system with digital skills they can use to get a job or start a business.
As part of this initiative, we are offering trainings that were developed by Grow with Google and co-curated by five justice reform-focused organizations to help people build digital skills to get back into the workforce. Lessons range from basic skills training on topics like job searching and resume building, to more advanced training on topics like using spreadsheets to budget for a business.
We offer three training options to learners and organizations:
Self-guided: Allows the learner to go through each lesson at their own pace, on their own time.
Trainer-led: Involves attending workshops (in person or virtual). These classes are facilitated by one of our trained teachers, and they are available to justice-impacted learners.
Train-the-Trainer: Our team can provide training to staff members or volunteers from organizations interested in delivering this curriculum to their learners.

Online, video-based learning (self-guided). Each lesson consists of videos that teach you how to apply digital skills to real-world situations, from job readiness to building an online business. You can choose to work on lessons independently at your own pace, or join a class to collaborate with others. You will receive a certificate of completion following the lesson.
Lessons include:
Start a Resume - Create an effective resume that highlights your experience and achievements using a template from Google Docs.
Build Your Online Business - Create, promote, and manage an online business using digital tools.
Plan and Budget - Analyze spending, research costs, and plan for purchases using a spreadsheet.
